Years

Kralis expects years to be sequential and strictly named in the YYYY/YYYY+1 format. Valid examples:
  • 2025/2026
  • 2026/2027
Invalid patterns include:
  • a single year like 2026
  • a descriptive label like 2026 Session
  • gaps such as creating 2028/2029 when 2027/2028 does not exist

Operational guidance

  • create the next year only when the school is ready to move forward
  • keep one current working year in focus
  • avoid trying to repair academic history through repeated year creation and deletion

Terms

Terms belong to a year. Create the terms needed by the school after the year is created. Use a consistent naming pattern across the school so score entry, reports, and attendance stay predictable.
