Expected flow

  1. Confirm the active year and term.
  2. Ensure classes, sections, subjects, and students are already correct.
  3. Enter or import scores.
  4. Review computed totals, grades, remarks, and positions where enabled.
  5. Publish or share reports according to school policy.

Data quality rules

Result workflows depend on correct academic structure. If the wrong class or section is attached to a student, later reports and summaries become unreliable.

Annual records

Annual records must respect the same class and section validation rules used for students. A class-bound section cannot be attached to an annual record for a different class.

Promotions

Promotion is adjacent to results work but should be treated as its own deliberate operation, not as a casual edit.
