Capabilities by role

Role	Typical capabilities
Student	Open eligible sessions, answer questions, navigate the test, submit, and view permitted feedback
Teacher	Create questions and tests, arrange content, run assigned/general sessions, and review performance within assigned class/subject context or teacher ownership
Dean or administrator	Manage school-wide tests and sessions, review attempts, recalculate scores, and sync eligible scores to SRMS

Teachers can browse the school’s reusable question and answer bank for study and reuse. When a teacher creates or changes a question or answer with class or subject context, that context must be assigned to the teacher. A test is visible to a teacher when it is general, matches an assigned class/subject, or belongs to that teacher. Students see published tests for their current class or general tests. Attempts and responses are private to the student, while teacher and school-manager access is narrowed by test ownership, assigned class/subject, and the student’s current class.

A test defines assessment content. A test session controls when and for whom that test can be attempted.
