# Planner Calendar

> Review recurring timetable occurrences, Classroom events, and attendance by date.

The Planner calendar combines three kinds of school activity on a monthly calendar:

* **Recurring timetable** — scheduled class lessons and activities shown on their occurrence dates.
* **Classroom event** — scheduled events visible to you.
* **Attendance** — your own attendance attempts and, when you select a class, student records you are permitted to view.

## Browse the calendar

Choose an academic year and term, then move between months. School staff can filter by class and, after choosing a class, by section. Students see their current class and section; the class and section filters are not shown to them. The selected academic context and your role determine which records are available.

Calendar items are kept compact in each date cell. Select a day with items to open its details, then choose an item to navigate to the related timetable, Classroom event, or attendance calendar. Color markers distinguish the three sources.

The calendar is a combined view, not a replacement for the detailed record pages: edit a timetable from its Planner page, manage a Classroom event from Classroom, and review attendance from Attendance. Visibility follows the permissions for each source.
