# Tests and Questions

> How the CBT area is structured around tests, sessions, questions, and editor workflows.

CBT is organized around a few core flows that depend on one another.

## Capabilities

This CBT workflow supports:

* test authoring
* question-bank maintenance
* session planning
* student attempt flows
* performance review

## Main areas

* tests
* test editor
* test sessions
* questions
* question editor
* student performance

## Recommended order

1. create or organize questions
2. define the test and academic context
3. publish or schedule the test session
4. let students take the test
5. review performance and participation

## Why this matters

Trying to schedule or review tests before the question and academic context are
clean usually creates avoidable confusion later.
