screen.

* use the main attendance view for the normal attendance experience
* use the calendar when date-oriented review is easier
* use review and check flows for inspection and verification
* use manage attendance for broader control where the role allows it

## Role note

Some attendance pages are available only to non-student roles, and management
flows are generally narrower still.
